What The Hell Does That Mean?
Explaining in modern language the wisdom of spiritual teachers across the ages.
To "Know Thyself". This quote originates from the Ancient Greeks and is attributed to Socrates. So what the hell does it mean?
To "know yourself" refers to knowing your true self, i.e. your essential nature, a.k.a who you truly are. It means you have passed the ego stage of life (what I call Phase I) and have progress into inner understanding. Graduating from external materialistic knowledge to internal knowing (Phase II).

There are various synonyms to "knowing yourself" or to the process of becoming known: awareness, awakening, mindfulness, raising human consciousness, enlightenment, salvation, shift in consciousness, liberation, end of suffering, waking up from the dream state, self-realization, etc.
To know yourself means that you are awake to the reality that you are not the physical body and you are not the mind (the ego). Your true essential nature is not physical, it's not fear, it's not beliefs, it's not judgments and it's not emotions.

It about the realization that there exists a different state of consciousness, one that represents your essential nature. This realization is to "know yourself".
To know yourself means to experience your true essential nature. It's an understanding by experience. It's achieved by awakening. There are many entries into awakening and all of them will lead to the same source.
The one clue I can give about the awakening process is that you will begin to notice a small separation, very small at first, between your physical body and your self and also between your mind (ego) and your self.
My goal with this website is to guide those who are ready to be awakened. The process involves questioning your currently held beliefs, judgments and emotions. The less attached you are to them the easier it will be to start the awakening and the sooner you will know thyself.
